Connor Michalek spent over a decade climbing the ladder in tech and sales. Leading teams, hitting targets, and doing everything that’s supposed to define success.
Until it didn’t.
Like many high performers, he hit a point where the pace, pressure, and fragmentation caught up. Burned out and disconnected, he walked away from the life that looked good on paper and set out to rebuild something that actually felt right.
That search took him across 27 countries. From freight trains in West Africa to deep community in the Middle East. From rooftop conversations in Europe to summiting the highest mountain in South America.
It was on that journey that he reconnected with presence, purpose, and a bigger question: Why does success so often come at the cost of well-being? And what would it look like to create a space that supports both?
That question led to Gevity.
Today, Connor leads Gevity with a clear mission: to help people live ambitious, connected, and healthy lives, without burning out to get there. He brings a builder’s mindset, a global perspective, and a belief that work and wellness should belong to the same story.
For him, Gevity isn’t just a business.
It’s the antidote to the life he used to live.
And the space he always wished existed.

Espoir Michalek’s journey is rooted in movement, community, and exploration. Raised in Vienna as one of twelve siblings, she grew up in the heartbeat of her parents' gym, where connection and belonging were built through sweat and shared effort.
Her path expanded beyond the gym. For nearly a decade, she lived aboard a catamaran, sailing across oceans. At 18, she booked a one-way ticket to Nicaragua, teaching yoga and guiding surf sessions on the beach.
Espoir’s journey is woven with diverse experiences - barista, bartender, farmhand, au pair, receptionist, yoga teacher, and operational manager. Each role deepened her understanding of community, service, and the power of human connection. But what if community wasn’t just a place - it was a feeling? And what if wellness wasn’t just physical - it was about belonging?
Those questions shaped her vision for Gevity. Now, as Co-Founder and COO of Gevity, she’s building more than just a wellness space - she’s creating a place where wellness, productivity, and community are not separate pursuits but one unified experience. Gevity is where members find connection in movement, purpose in community, and balance in their everyday lives.
For Espoir, Gevity isn’t just a business - it’s a new way of living well. A space designed to redefine wellness, elevate connection, and inspire growth. At Gevity, work and well-being aren’t just balanced - they belong to the same story.
